TWELVE THOUSAND TO ONE

Oh, the relief!  After two, no, maybe three years I have written the FINAL Chapter

AGENTS - PUBLISHERS - READ ON

WHO IS ROBERT PRESTON?

Is he Kathy's mysterious Englishman who drinks in her Christchurch bar?

His passsport supports this identity

OR

Is he George Dixon a childhood friend of Mike Daly who remembers him when they raced Roaring Liz through the quiet streets of their Lincolnshire village?

The passport photograph convInces him - the distinctive scar can belong to one else.

WHOEVER IT IS, HIS SKELETON LIES IN THE BUSH OFF A DESERTED TRACK IN NEW ZEALAND.

In his search for the truth Mike uncovers a New Zealand bloodstock scam and we relive those financial piracy days following Rogernomics before it all fell down in 1987. Days of legal financial piracy and the time of housewives' stocks and shares clubs, Racehorses and gambling on the stock exchange.

Briefly we meet Mr Asia, and the violent drug baron Terry Clarke, and are threatened by a Bikie gang.

England in the sixties and seventies, the growth of the drug culture and the West Indian Yardies. We are introduced to  Sinjon from Jamaica  and his Manchester coke financed Nightclub.

Dixon, hiding  from French Albie after his  land scam went, wrong meets Irish Paddy by chance in a Richmond hotel. He is an  expert on racehorses who introduce him to the New Zealand 1984 financial euphoria.

WAS IT GEORGE DIXON'S SKELETON = OR ROBERT PRESTON - OR RODGER JONES OR EVEN PADDY O'HARA BURIED IN THE  BUSH AT STOCKYARD BAY?

TWELVE THOUSAND TO ONE UNRAVELS THIS MYSTERY.
